ABOUT CASEY

Casey Bradley (she/they) is a bi-coastal Australian born actor based in Brooklyn, NYC.

Latest film and TV work include a recurring role on HBO’s Winning Time (Adam McKay), the multi-award winning independent film Another Round (Weve TV), a recurring role on HBO’s Shadows of Death, and costar roles on The Rise of Wall Street (Curiosity Stream) and popular Australian television show Skithouse (Network10).

Select NYC theatre credits include Through the Cracks (HERE Arts Center), Ivy Walls (3 Legged Dog) and Boeing Boeing (3 Legged Dog) which was extended for a regional season at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre Company (CO). Casey has worked extensively on classical texts with a strong focus on Shakespeare, appearing in As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Nights Dream with the Australian Shakespeare Company at the historic Athenaeum Theatre, and in Coriolanus, Midsummer Nights Dream, and Titus Andronicus in repertory regionally for Shakespeare in the Woods (VT).

Casey has also featured in various commercial work for brands including Toyota and Balcolta.

Casey holds an MFA Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School, where she trained under Elizabeth Kemp, Susan Aston, and Jacqueline Knapp, and is an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (Gold Certificate: Shakespeare) and the University of Melbourne (BA Arts - Theatre Studies and Creative Writing). Casey is currently a Member of the PDW at The Actors Studio, and has been a renewed Acting Finalist for the last six years.

Casey has also worked extensively on the development of new works. Casey has participated in developmental readings at The New Group as a part of the No Limits Reading Series’ and at The Actors Studio as a part of the inaugural On The Fly festival. Casey has a strong interest in stories that champion LGBTQ+ and female voices, Australian and international voices, classical adaptations with intentionality and purpose, stories that reflect the world we live in, and representation of queer, BIPOC, female, and international stories that are not centred on trauma.

Casey has worked in the Arts for over 20 years, in a wide variety of positions including actor, director, producer, artistic director, in the Development sector at Broadway and Off-Broadway theatres in NYC, and as a theatre professor in the Theatre & Speech Department at City College (CUNY) in New York. Casey has worked for Broadway theatre company Roundabout Theatre and Off-Broadway’s The Barrow Group, and was the Artistic Director for MU Shakespeare in Australia. As a filmmaker, Casey has produced several independent short films, commercials and music videos in New York with Prospect NY. In 2011, Casey was named an inaugural Youth Ambassador by the state theatre company, Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC).

Casey is represented by Boals, Winnett & Associates and Josselyne Herman & Associates, is a member of MEAA Actors Equity, Ring of Keys Organization, and is SAG and AEA eligible. Casey is a US Green Card holder and is proudly Queer.
